Unfortunately, the OEM heat exchanger is installed in a location that offers limited airflow and the unit itself restricts coolant flow. Enter, the MercRacing Heat Exchanger. A front-mounted multi-pass dual-core design. The increased front-facing surface area maximizes heat dissipation while the additional coolant volume increases thermal dilution. After a year of rigorous testing on the dyno, dragstrip and circuit, we are confident our heat exchanger will provide lower IATs for longer durations with faster recovery. Combine this with the MercRacing Air-to-Water Intercooler and Peirburg CW100-3 upgraded Coolant Pump and you have the ultimate reliable cooling solution for the B9 RS5 on the market.
