Ultra Lightweight Pulley for the MercRacing TVS supercharger kits. Made from billet 7075-T6 aerospace grade aluminum. Stronger and harder than 6061 T6. This pulley is equipped with GripTec®, a micro-machining technology. This technology allows the maximum grip force to be applied to the component and belt without damaging your belt. You won’t have to worry about belt slip with GripTec®. Get the maximum performance out of your supercharger.
Belt slip isn’t always noticeable. Often belt slip is noticed when the system squeals, squeaks or boost falls off. Did you know that naturally the belt can slip a very small percentage even on NA vehicles, one major factor to belt wearing. Belt wrap does play a key factor in minimizing belt movement but when it comes to driving a supercharger is hard to fully eliminate with just surface contact. Systems running smaller pulleys can see as much as a 1.5 psi gain when matching size for size pulleys.
