Description
This tensioner design comes from the engineers at CT Engineering/Comptech. It was one of the last tensioner designs on their 9th Gen Civic Si kits. This product has been requested a few times and MercRacing has decided to replicate its design and implemented some changes to increase its rigidity and simplified the number of parts required.
This setup offers a lower budget option for those needing more belt adjustment but do not require the more robust dual pulley tensioner setup.
The belt tension adjuster mounts to the OEM belt tensioner unit and allows the user to increase belt tension or adjust to specific needs.
