The MercRacing high-performance intercooler/charge core offers the following benefits:
- Improved core durability (much stronger than OEM core). The OEM core is prone to failure when increasing boost.
- Core Manufactured by WAGNER Tuning.
- The higher water flow rate with its large full-size 3/4″ hose connections improves core efficiency.
- Faster IAT recovery during pulls and performance-driving
- Better airflow (CFM) than OEM core. The Original core is very restrictive and meant to run at a limited stock flow rate.
- The new core design in 2023 adds additional Fin density and added cooling columns for improved efficiency.
- Includes a bleed port to aid in the removal of air during system fill-up.

This surpassed my expectations on build and quality. This V2 design is way better than V1 and the welds are on point. Packaging was very secure and no issues.

after my stock intercooler brick started leaking coolant i purchased a cts turbo one due to the v2 brick being out of stock at the time. i had nothing but super high iats and crazy knock with the cts turbo brick installed. I got the v2 brick when it came back in stock and installed it and noticed an immediate difference in intake air temps (20 degrees over ambient) hardly any fluctuation in iat temps once the car got into boost as well. super super fast recovery as well after a long hard pull on the highway as well. i went out and beat my previous 60-130 on first pass with the new brick installed and that was the only change done to the car. Super Super happy with the product high recommend getting one for your 4.0 worth every penny!!!!
