DLC-coating is extremely hard and thus more scratch-resistant.
The use of this product allows you to run your personalized coolant mix for your setup. You can run distilled water with some water wetter or a small amount of coolant for pump lubrication. Water has better heat capacity and transfer than coolant. The unit allows for full-time air bleeding of the system as the air passes through the heat exchanger it is pushed out into the reservoir. this keeps your water in pristine air-free condition for the best cooling. Air bubbles in the system will reduce performance dramatically.
The unit comes with a bracket that mounts to your car frame for ease of installation.
